Overview

StoTherm Insulation is an exterior insulation finishing system (EIFS) for timber or steel frame construction. Consisting of 40 to 100mm and over thick EPS StoTherm Panels or Sto Therm+ Panels which increase R-values by up to a further 20% for better energy efficiency and savings.

StoTherm is one of the world's most successful facade insulation systems. As the first exterior insulation finishing system (EIFS), it was developed from the outset with a focus on safety and long-term material behaviour and has since been continually improved. StoTherm has one of the lowest complaint rates thanks to its high system reliability and durability.

StoTherm Armat Insulation System

StoTherm Armat is a BRANZ appraised insulation and render system installed on timber or steel frame, consisting of EPS StoTherm Insulation Panels fixed with anchors which avoid thermal bridging.

The StoTherm panels are basecoat to straighten any irregularities. Followed by StoArmat render and glass fibre mesh, providing engineered reinforcement to reliably dissipate tensile, seismic and shear stress. Finished with perfectly interlocking components: Stolit fibre-reinforced coloured finishing render plus StoColor; creating a 4mm weather tight reinforcement system for reliability and protection that surpasses the facade durability requirements.

Installations are carried out by a Sto Registered Licensed Building Practitioner with the added protection of a StoArmat 15 or 20 Year Warranty and StoService Assurance, guaranteeing building code compliant materials are used and application meets building code standards, including a service plan for long-term security.

StoTherm Vario Insulation System

The StoTherm Vario Insulation System is a BRANZ appraised high performance, low cost, EPS expanded polystyrene insulation system fixed with anchors which avoid thermal bridging. Reinforced with a mineral-based meshed reinforcement render and finished with perfectly interlocking components: Stolit fibre-reinforced coloured finishing render plus StoColor; creating a weather tight reinforcement system enhancing reliability and protection.

Installations are implemented by a Sto Registered Licensed Building Practitioner and available with a Sto 15 year Warranty and StoService Assurance, with Building code material component compliance and Sto QA standard workmanship guaranteed; delivering an economically sound and practical solution for your facade requirements, including a service plan for security.

Stolit: Coloured Finishing Renders

Stolit organic finishing renders are manufactured in Germany incorporating the latest technology; certified globally and successfully applied to rendered substrates in every climatic zone for over 50 years.

The Stolit range provides the perfect combination of properties: durable, strong, hard-wearing, impact-resistant, malleable, weather-resistant, colour-stable and highly resistant to microorganisms. In addition, its vapour permeability allows your building to breathe while still repelling water.

Facade Paints

The StoColor finish, a serviceable coating embodying intelligent technology for a range of surface functions to compliment the architectural structure and design. The StoColor System, with 800 shades or matched to any colour using the Sto Spectrometer, provides a clear framework and systematic approach to colour based on integrated layers, combining texture and colour for aesthetic appeal.
