COVID-19 | Sto Warehouse Protocols
As per Government announcement, Stoanz is pleased to be open alongside the recommencement of construction work. The appropriate safety measures below have been implemented for Stoanz Warehouses in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch for the duration of Alert Level 3.
The Construction Standard and Protocols have been released by Construction Health and Safety New Zealand (CHASNZ). These regulations provide a framework to allow building work to restart safely and quickly. Please read the relevant protocols for your building-site regulations.
It is a key focus for Stoanz to ensure the right safety protocols are in place in all our warehouses during Alert Level 3 and Alert Level 2. Below is a summary of what this means and what we will be doing to ensure our staff and customers remain safe:
Goods must be ordered by phone and contactless delivery or pick up will be initiated.
Contractors and customers must not come into the premises.
To avoid delays, please provide your order early with due consideration for large tinted orders.
Contact details for product orders can be viewed here.
All contractor pickups require the contractor to scan in using the NZ COVID TRACER APP / QR CODE. We will also have a track n trace sheet for manually signing in if you don't have the app.
Collection by the front roller door. Barriers will be placed in each warehouse which will represent the out-of-limits zone and pick up zone. For orders requiring a forklift, please maintain a minimum distance of 2-metres from the operator.
If required to pay for your goods, either use online banking or phone in the credit card number.
If for any reason any non-staff member is required to enter the premises, they must be wearing a mask.
A minimum 1-metre social distance will be maintained between all workers on-site; workers other than warehouse staff will remain in their offices away from foot traffic flow and contractors but will be available by phone or email.
Disinfecting of surfaces and maintaining high standards of hygiene. Including: Handwashing or hand sanitising regularly; appropriate sneezing and coughing etiquette.
Our standard freight policy will apply during Level 3 and Level 2.
Your Architectural Manager will continue to communicate with you, your requirements and specific pick-up areas.
Our Customer Service Team are fully back on board, you will be able to place orders in accordance with the above guidelines.
Sto staff who can work from home are continuing to do so.
Posters will be put up in warehouse areas as added reminders.
