The Sto Sales, Marketing and Technical team came together in March for a two day National Sto Sales Conference at the Royal Port Nicholson Yacht Club. Hosted by Steve McArthur, Sto Sales Director, and themed “Crown the business king” there was a good dose of acumen, insight and humour in delivering a detailed overview of the previous year’s success while implementing strategy to build a positive result for the coming year. 

Following the theme it was also a time for the business to acknowledge; in Svend Andersen’s retirement from the day to day business, his huge contribution in building a successful Sto Brand throughout New Zealand and Australia and though he has passed on the crown, his presence on the board as a Director will continue to influence the direction of the Sto business in Australasia. 

In keeping with the occasion a meat feast of Spanish cooked lamb & beef was devoured at the Matador in Cuba street all washed down with copious amount of beer and wine. Finishing with some sales reminisces of moments with Svend and a presentation of a Mercedes Expedition Jacket to go with his new Mercedes G Wagon..
